CCAD LAB Undergraduate Research Assistant Liz Weir received the URA for their proposal. From Liz: “I’m interested in finding ways to increase students’ sense of belonging in schools. For my URA, I’m doing a qualitative analysis of interviews with Asian American teenagers talking about how they perceive their school climate and their experiences of discrimination in the context of COVID-19. With this data, I hope to improve our understanding of how schools can create inclusive learning environments and to reduce racial marginalization among adolescents.”
