Jung Yun Na, M.S.Ed, M.Div, Th.M

Graduate Research Assistant

Jung Yun Na is a first year doctoral student in the Applied Developmental Psychology program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Development at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. She also holds an M.Div and Th.M from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Jung’s research is focused on identifying cultural-specific factors and protective factors for racial discrimination among Asian American youths as well as promoting their mental health. She is also interested in integrating spirituality and religiosity to strengthen Asian American youths’ resilience and healthy emotional development.

Currently, Jung is involved in the ARISE project.
