Hyun Su Cho, M.A.

Graduate Research Assistant

Hyun Su is a doctoral student in the Applied Developmental Psychology program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 2012 and her Master’s degree in Psychology from the Seoul National University, South Korea in 2016. Hyun Su’s research interests focus on parent-child interactions/relationships and the socio-emotional and academic development of Korean immigrant children in the United States. Specifically, she is interested in examining the associations between parents’ well-being, parenting behaviors, and cultural factors, and children’s development using observational and qualitative data. Hyun Su is involved in the CSTARS project, working with the Korean sample.
